Children

Children of all ages are welcome. Please let us know if you would like a High Chair or Porta Cot made up. We have a few toys which may interest the young ones, feel free to bring their old favourites. Both Cottages have a large yards which are fully fenced for children to run around and play.

Pets

Pets are negotiable. Please contact Annette to discuss your requirements. A Pet Bond may be required.

Deposits & Payments

A deposit of 50% of the total booking is required within 72 hours to secure the booking. We accept credit card or bank deposit. Please contact our office if you wish to pay via credit card. Direct deposits can be made to Cowell Boutique Accommodation BSB 105-054 Account No 062701340 and email a copy of the receipt to cowellboutiqueaccommodation@bigpond.com.

Cancellations

The 50% deposit is non refundable. Under special circumstances we can sometimes transfer the deposit for another stay. We do not accept cheques on the day of stay. If you fail to arrive the deposit is forfeit and the remainder of the balance is payable within 7 days.

Minimum Night Bookings

For one nights stay an additional $50.00 Laundry / Cleaning Fee is payable. For 2 nights stay or more this fee is waived.

Number of People Staying

Mer Cottage can sleep up to 8 people.

Grandpas Cottage can sleep 4 people.

Our Rate is for 1 couple inclusive. Additional people are charged at a rate of $10 extra per night.

Please let us know at the time of booking how many people will be staying so we can best work out the sleeping configurations and ensure you have been quoted for your stay accurately.

Note: Cowell Boutique Accommodation reserve the right to refuse a booking regardless of deposit being paid. 100% of the deposit is refundable in this instance.

Smoking

All of our properties are strictly NO Smoking inside. Please dispose of your cigarette buts thoughtfully – not on the pathways or into the garden.

Excessive Mess

Both cottages are cleaned prior to your arrival we do require that you leave our homes in a relatively clean and tidy state. If you change the layout of furniture to suit your needs we ask that you return it to it's original position on departure. All rubbish should be placed in the Wheelie Bin outside, all dishes etc. to be washed and put away & bottles placed in the crate outside. Please clean the BBQ / Oven etc. after use. If the property is left in a messy state you will be charged a cleaning fee (minimum $80).

Damage and Breakages

Please advise our office of any damage or breakages so we can replace this item. You will be billed for damage and breakages beyond normal wear & tear.

Check In / Check Out

Normal check in time is 1pm and check out is 10am, however if we can accommodate a more flexible time which better suits your needs we will try. This will depend on the next booking.

What is supplied

In the Kitchen

Both cottages have kitches that are fully self contained and provide all crockery, cutlery, cooking accessories and utensils. 

Provisions

Sugar, instant coffee, tea, salt, pepper, butter portions, small milk, selections of jams and spreads. Please note that this is a welcome hamper and is only provided on the first day of your stay.

We can provide a breakfast hamper or bacon, eggs, homemade bread and cereal for $35.00 - please advise our office if you would like one

Supplies

Chux, scourer, dishwashing detergent, spray and wipe. This is a set up hamper and is only provided on the first day of your stay. 

Bathrooms

Travel size soap, 2 rolls of toilet paper. This is offered as a welcome pamper pack and is only provided on the first day of your stay.

Bed Linen and Towels

Beautiful quality white bed linen and towels, face washers, hand towels and a bath mat for 2 couples. If you require extra linen or towels please contact our office - an charge of $10 per person per night (maximum 8 people) will be incurred for this service.

Laundry

A washing machine, dryer, iron & ironing board is available for your use.

What you May Like To Bring

Feel Free to bring some DVD or CD's. The local deli does offer a DVD hire service.

Food & Beverages. IGA is open 7 days (until noon Sat & Sun)

Toiletries

Fishing equipment Local Hardware shop is open 7 days for supplies (until noon Sat & Sun)
